Animation design and illustration, working with Alchemy and Nutopia and Protozoa to provide explainer graphics for the Disney+/National Geographic series, Limitless.
I was brought onboard at the very beginning of the graphics production process to help create the look and feel of the animations, taking inspiration from some of my favourite sources: Victorian pop-up anatomy books and J.M. Bourgery and N.H. Jabob’s beautiful ‘Atlas of Human Anatomy’.
Working with Nutopia and overseen by the incredibly talented Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Production Company, we created a visual language that needed to be both entraining and impart technical and detailed science to the viewer at home, to accompany Chris Hemsworth’s fascinating adventures discovering how to live better and longer by pushing himself to the limits.
My illustrations were then beautifully brought to life by Alchemy.
