Humana Festival Poster

In 2009 I was asked by The Actors Theatre of Louisville to illustrate the poster for the 34th Humana Festival of New American Plays. A great roster of illustrators has created the poster in the past so it was quite an honour.

The Humana festival is America’s largest and longest established festival of new works of theatre, and I was lucky enough to go along to the 34th to see some of the plays and to give a talk about the creation of the poster. This is the poster for my talk designed by Matt Dobson from an early draft of the poster.
